Ok....Let's face it...THEY ARE HOT!!

and they like their COFFEE HOT TOO!

Believe it or not, I used all scrap paper!  I'm so proud!

The lovely FBD stamped images are colored with copics

I have no idea what the dp is.  So sorry.

The heart dies and sentiment punches are Stampin Up

The lacy die cut is 

Spellbinders Nestabilities Resplendent Rectangles

(I just want to share that I am having

the WORST time trying to work with these using

my Big Shot!  Ugh!  So very frustrating.)

Oh and on a personal note

Can you believe that I didn't use a flower on my card?

It was really hard for me.  I did try a couple of different flowers

on this card, but decided against using any.

FBD January Rubber Stamp Release BLOG HOP!

For my post today, I chose to feature the new stamp:

CHERRY CUPCAKE CUTIE!

Isn't she adorable?  This stamp is going to be perfect for so many

of the little Cupcake Cutie birthday girls that I know!

As you can see,  I made a Cherry Cupcake Themed birthday card.

I simply couldn't resist!

She was so much fun to work with!

Our stamps have gone through a little transformation this year.

They are STILL on the DEEPLY ETCHED, thick, gorgeous, made in the USA

red rubber ... but in designing the layout we took special care in making sure that we left

a lot more room between the images. This means you get a cleaner looking cut out and have more room

to trim around your stamp! We have added SENTIMENTS to some of our stamps this year!

The large flower with the pearl is Prima

The other flowers used are from Wild Orchid Crafts

The pretty leaves are done with my Marianne Designs dies (Love them!)

The heart dies are Cheery Lynn

The tag is a Stampin Up punch

All of the ribbons and button are Stampin Up

I used a Martha Stewart punch on the inside pocket edge.

I used the Tim Holtz On the Edge Brackets Alterations die

I used Stampin Up cardstock

and Kaiser Craft  Fine & Sunny dp

The hearts are Cheery Lynn dies

I used sizzix nestabilities scalloped circles
The flower is made with a spellbinder die 

I used ribbon from my stash!  I love this gingham print!
The pearls are from recollections!

FBD Month Long Prize Challenge - Anything Goes!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

I hope that all of you enjoyed your holidays!

I enjoyed a wonderful Christmas!

It was so nice to spend some time with all of our loved ones

and count our many blessings.

I actually had to clean out my craft room before 

I could get in there 

to craft again!  

The holiday season was so very busy around here

and my room was filled with shipping boxes,

 wrapping paper, bows 

and anything else that needed to be tucked away!  

When I finally got in there, I had so much fun creating again!

I decided to make a

Diagonal Double Pocket Card

showcasing

Fresh Brewed Designs

CUTIE PIE ICE SKATING 

rubber stamp

I followed the directions on the tutorial and then I adhered the

double pocket card to the front of  a

6" x 4 1/2" card so that I could add a journal section to the inside.

I made this for a sweet little girl who's younger brother comes to my

preschool.  She is so very sweet and thoughtful and 

she is always surprising me with

pretty pictures and cards that she makes special for me!

I wanted to surprise her with something special and she loves

Ice Skating.  

I couldn't think of a more perfect image for her than the

adorable

Recipe

I used liquid pearls for the fur trim on her coat and skates.

I used crystal effects and Martha Stewart sugar on the wings.

I cut Cutie Pie out and used Stampin Up labels die cut to place her on.

The fun design paper is my new echo park  (Life Is Good)

The paper pack came with the fun stickers that I used on the tags

and the inside of my card.

I made the tags with Sizzix  Tags, scallop combo #2 die

The lacy heart is a Cheery Lynn Designs die cut

The snowflakes, pearls and rinestones are from Recollections
