I made this Princess card for a little

5 Year old girl who is graduating onto

Kindergarten from my preschool!

She has the most gorgeous brown curly hair and she

loves to play pretty princess dress up!

I had lots of fun using die cuts, pretty lace, pearls and flowers!

Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge-Flowers and Lace and DT call

Hello!

I can hardly believe that it's actually been a whole year since

I have had the pleasure of creating a card!

This card is for the Fussy and Fancy Challenge that I am hosting!

The challenge is

Flowers and Lace!

I used this adorable

Fresh Brewed Designs digi

Sassy Birthday Girl!

I colored this Sassy Birthday Girl with copics.
Then I had fun adding the last bit of my favorite lace
and from there I went a little crazy with the flowers!
When I was adding some crystal effects to the cake,
I accidently dropped a glob of it on the card and ended
up adding some translucent confetti to cover it up!

I am looking for one or two new

Digi's for Debbie Fundraiser!



Good morning and welcome to the Digis for Debbie Fundraiser Blog Hop.  Recently, we learned that Mrs. Debbie Lynch, the beautiful and loving mother of Heather Dennis, owner of Fresh Brewed Designs, was diagnosed with a rare form of uterine cancer.  As most of you may know, cancer related medical costs can be quite expensive, and Mrs. Debbie currently has no medical insurance, which makes the cost significantly higher.  Therefore, we have decided to help raise enough money to cover these medical expenses, as well as aftercare expenses, by creating a digi shop.  All the proceeds of the Digis for Debbie Fundraiser Shop and the Fresh Brewed Designs Store will go directly to Mrs. Debbie to fund her lifesaving surgery and the aftercare necessary to bring her back to wellness.  Furthermore, Heather has created a Give Forward account to assist her mother.

here to play outside!  Yesterday we played with a parachute

Shoe Sale at FBD!

Fresh Brewed Designs "Girlfriends" Challenge

Happy Wednesday!

I hope that all of you are having a

I am just loving this beautiful weather.
We planted some pretty flower pots for the
back porch and picked up some vegetables
to start planting in our garden this season.
I love being able to pick fresh vegetables
from my back yard to serve with dinner!
I am really looking forward to the tomatoes!
To me, there is nothing like the taste of a fresh garden tomato!

FBD Color Combo Challenge

Happy Wednesday!

We are experiencing lovely Spring weather.
periods of rain followed by beautiful sunshine.
Simply lovely.
Now for my reality.
As most of you know, I run a childcare/preschool.
Well, my poor little sweeties have been getting sick
with the horrible vomiting bug! 
I was up late last night lysoling and cleaning everything
in sight after another poor precious was sick everywhere
here at my house. 
I am praying really hard that nobody else catches it.
It's a really nasty bug.
I thought now that Spring is here, we weren't supposed to
have anymore sickness!  Boo!
Ok, Enough whining!

It's a Birthday Challenge at Fresh Brewed Designs!

Happy Wednesday!

What lovely Spring weather we
are having around here in the North East!
Hurray!  The very last of the snow is melting from
my yard!  The tiny crocuses are sprouting out of the ground!
And I can hear the loud croaking and peeping from the
frogs in my pond. (swamp!  LOL!)
I have an adorable duck couple swimming around in there
and I can hardly wait to see their little ducklings!
Ok, enough about me!

that I could take it's picture and she scooped it up

It seems that I always struggle when making cards

It's time for a new Challenge!

What a crazy afternoon and evening we had here

yesterday on St. Patrick's Day!

The wind was blowing fiercely with 50 mile an hour gusts.

 Then we had rain followed by big messy slop. 

The slop turned into

hail and it wasn't long before we had crazy swirling snow!

The cold temperatures are back!

Hello and Happy Wednesday!

I hope that all of you are doing well.

For those of us that are living in the North East, we have been

dealing with one snowstorm after another, hurricane winds,

 sub zero temperatures

and the horrific ice damns.

My husband spent all weekend up on ladders and on our roof shoveling snow

and chipping away at thick ice that was trapping snow and water on our roof.

The water gets trapped and finds a way inside your house.

It drips down your walls and soaks your white ceilings, staining them-yellow.

At this point, I don't think we will see any green grass until May!

There is just so much snow to melt!

 

On a good note, I got to enjoy making another card!

Isn't she GORGEOUS? 

You can create her with any hair color, eye color and blush with lip gloss.

As you can see, I created a blonde with gorgeous green eyes and pretty

peach toned blush and lip stick.

I colored her with copic markers and added crystal effects to her eyes and lips.

I had so much fun creating this card!  These new digi images are absolutely

beautiful and so much fun to create with!
