"Friends Are Like Jeans"

I've been looking forward to using my

The Design Paper is K&Company  Watercolor Bouqet
I also used my Marianne Dies and my scalloped circle nestabilities
The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts
The dragon fly is Jolee's boutique

"Computer Guy" Birthday card!

Hello!  I'm so very glad that the weekend is here! 
I just love Saurdays because I can find time to "PLAY"!
I just finished making this fun
BIRTHDAY CARD FOR MY SON. 
His Birthday is on Tuesday!

I used the digi image, "Computer Guy" from Mo's Digital Pencil
I used my cuddlebug Happy Birthday embossing folder
I colored the image in with my copic markers
The cardstock, buttons, clothes pin and punches used are all from Stampin Up
The DP is DCWV  The Guy Stack

"Autumn Card" for Fussy and Fancy Friday "Sketch" Challenge!

Hello!  It's Friday! 
I'm excited because it's Friday before a long weekend!  
Monday is our Labor Day Holiday.  I'm planning on making some cards this weekend. 
One very important card will be for my son's birthday!

The hay I added was found with my stash of materials but you can find it in any craft store.

On a personal note, my thoughts and prayers are going out to everybody who has been effected by Hurricane Irene.
I know that half of my town is still without power and they may not get it back until Saturday!  My oldest married daugher is one of those still without power.  She has moved back home with us.  We are all so grateful that it's been pleasant weather.  People have been able to keep warm and comfortable and cook on their grills.
Our largest grocery store is only selling dry goods.  They didn't have a generator back up for the refridgerated and frozen goods.
More than half of the local restaurants are closed as well as doctors offices and businesses.
Everybody is helping each other though.  People with power are inviting their friends and neighbors over for hot meals and showers.
I hope that everybody is well as I keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers.

Birthday Card "Caution Contents Are Hot"

BLISS!

Hello!  It's Wednesday! 
That means it's time for another challenge at
Freshly Brewed Challenges! 
This weeks fun challenge is to make a card with 
WHITE ON WHITE + 1 other color!
Here is my card


For my card I used the "ANGEL CAKE BUBBLE BATH" digi stamp from Fresh Brewed Designs.
Doesn't she look happy and relaxed, surrounded by bubbles?
I colored her in with copic markers and painted the bath tub with Fresh Brewed Designs
The cardstock, oval and scalloped oval punches are SU
I used all Marianne Dies along with a paper doily
Roses are from Wild Orchid Crafts 
I wish I could tell you what brand the aqua and white pearls are, but they were leftovers in my stash of treasures.
