I made up a special "Romantic Valentine check list" for Granny!

She can still keep the "home fires burning"!

Good Morning Granny,

 is getting ready for a very romantic 

Valentine dinner with her wonderful husband.

All she has left to do is wake him up from his nap!

Good Morning Granny is colored with copic markers and her 

house coat is paper pieced.

Fun Valentine Card

Hello, My lovely and talented blogging friends!

Yay!  It's the weekend!

I made a fun card this morning that I'm just

now getting a chance to post. 

My grandson was here today for a nice visit.

I was hoping to get a better picture when I 

had day light, but he didn't leave until 

after dark, so I hope this picture is clear enough.

"Squeaker's Ride", Joy Fold Card!

Good Morning!

It's time for a brand new challenge at

Freshly Brewed challenges!

This month's PRIZE challenge is

Something New!

For my, "Something New" card I chose to make a 

JOY FOLD CARD

using

Fresh Brewed Designs

Squeaker's Ride

This was my first time making a Joy Fold Card

and I would like to share how I did it.

I cut my yellow card stock 7 1/2" long X 5 1/4" wide.

Then I scored it at 5 1/4"

I decorated the 5 1/4" square inside with designer paper.

I punched a 5 1/4" X 1 1/4" strip of orange

I adhered the punched edge to the 

inside of the 2 1/4" flap

 and decorated the front side with designer paper.

I made a small card with a 7" X 3 1/2" piece of card stock.

I scored it at 3 1/2" and decorated 

both the inside and the outside.

I colored my

Fresh Brewed Designs 

Squeaker's Ride

with my copic markers.

This is my first time using this adorable digi stamp!

Isn't is precious?
I'm partial to mice images!
I actually collect the Wee Folk Mice!
However, Let me be perfectly clear....
I'm afraid of real mice!
Anything that can run that fast and climb up my leg
scares me!
Whoops, I'm rambling....
Back to my card!

The sentiment is Stampin' Up

I adhered my small little Squeeekers Ride card 

to the center of the 5 1/4" square on the inside.

You fold the bottom half of the large card up over

the bottom of the inside of the small card.

Then I added a circle, "Happy Birthday" sentiment

to tuck the bottom left corner of the small card under.

This will keep the card closed.

This is the finished card!

And this is what the inside looks like.
As I mentioned in my 
"Peek inside my craft room" post,
earlier, I discovered that I have a lot of 
ORANGE RIBBON!
This pretty dotted orange ribbon is brand new!
I promised myself that I would make 
an Orange card to use my 
Orange ribbon.
As a matter of fact, I may have 
gotten a little carried away with the
Orange!
The important thing is that I had lots 
of fun making this little Squeaker card!

for their gracious hospitality.

Christmas card!

I was able to make the perfect 

"Thank you for your hospitality card"!
