Fussy and Fancy Flowers Challenge!

Hello everybody!

I am being buried in snow over here!

What was I thinking, when I was posting

about birds singing and Spring in the air just

two days ago?

Well, one thing is for sure......

I certainly wasn't watching my local weather forecast!

LOL!

I don't care if it is a Winter Wonderland out there,

I made a lovely Spring card

embellished with lots of pretty flowers

to share with all of you today!

I actually made this card along with my last

card when I was listening to the birds singing!  ;-)

We have a brand new challenge at

Fussy and Fancy!

You guessed it!

The challenge this fortnight is

FLOWERS!

Recipe

Fresh Brewed Designs Sweet Bunny digi

colored with copic markers.

I made the dots on her dress with liquid pearls

and used crystal effects on her eyes, nose and flower.

The large piece of dp is Recollections Floral Foliage

and the smaller piece is from my scraps.

Most of the flowers that I usedand the 

pink heart doily are from Wild Orchid Crafts

the dried flowers are from my mother! She is the best!

I used three different lace trims from my stash!

FBD March Prize Challenge!

Hello and Happy Wednesday!

I'm sorry that I haven't shared a card or a post with you for a while.

I sure have missed crafting!

Can you believe that it's March?

I have been listening to the birds singing!  

Spring is trying really hard to push it's way

past all of the Winter weather we have been experiencing!

We are all sick of snow around here, that's for sure!

It's time for a brand new

Month Long 
MARCH Prize Challenge at

This month our challenge is

Paper piecing and Accordion card

I used the tutorial for an accordion card on 
Splitcoaststampers here.

I used the same spellbinders label die cut as the tutorial.

For the front of my card, I used

Sweet Bunny

I just love this adorable new digi!

I colored her with copics and paper pieced her pretty little dress.

The flowers are from my mother, who is so very supportive

of my card making hobby!  Thank you, mom!

The egg is recollections and the butterfly is from

the Stampin Up butterfly embosslit folder.

colored with copic markers and 

cut out with Spellbinders scalloped oval die cut.

This adorable little lamb is

Ewe are Sweet digi

I colored the lamb in with copics and then cut the 

image out and adhered it onto blue dp.

The clouds were made with MFT dienamic.

Valentine treats

Hello!

I hope that all of you are having a good week so far!

Mine has been super busy with the children here at my preschool!

We have all been working on special Valentines and gifts for their parents.

Then I have been busy making my own Valentine cards and treat bags.

The boys here are always playing

I made the children here.  I got the idea on Pintrest and

knew the perfect Teddy Bear digi to use.

I used  Stampin Up red dazzling details on the two hearts.

Stampin Up Heart die, large oval punch and 

scallop oval punch.

I filled the cellophane bags with 

Teddy Grahams and gummy bears

I will be working on the girls Valentine cards today
Yes.....I am that far behind!
I hope to share one of the little girls cards with you
tomorrow.
Since I am making cards for very small children,
I can't add a lot of embellishments.
LOL!  That is really hard for me!

Believe it or not, I used all scrap paper!  I'm so proud!

(I just want to share that I am having

the WORST time trying to work with these using

my Big Shot!  Ugh!  So very frustrating.)

Oh and on a personal note

Can you believe that I didn't use a flower on my card?

It was really hard for me.  I did try a couple of different flowers

on this card, but decided against using any.
