I have made two fun cards!

I found this pencil shape card pictured on line and came up with my own similar version.

On a personal note, my thoughts and prayers are going out to everybody who has been effected by Hurricane Irene.

I know that half of my town is still without power and they may not get it back until Saturday!  My oldest married daugher is one of those still without power.  She has moved back home with us.  We are all so grateful that it's been pleasant weather.  People have been able to keep warm and comfortable and cook on their grills.

Our largest grocery store is only selling dry goods.  They didn't have a generator back up for the refridgerated and frozen goods.

More than half of the local restaurants are closed as well as doctors offices and businesses.

Everybody is helping each other though.  People with power are inviting their friends and neighbors over for hot meals and showers.

I hope that everybody is well as I keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers.

Here is my card

For my card I used the "ANGEL CAKE BUBBLE BATH" digi stamp from Fresh Brewed Designs.

Doesn't she look happy and relaxed, surrounded by bubbles?

I colored her in with copic markers and painted the bath tub with Fresh Brewed Designs

The cardstock, oval and scalloped oval punches are SU

I used all Marianne Dies along with a paper doily

Roses are from Wild Orchid Crafts 

I wish I could tell you what brand the aqua and white pearls are, but they were leftovers in my stash of treasures.

Guess Who Is a new member of the Freshly Brewed Challenges DT?

Hello!  I'm so very excited about sharing my special news!  I have been invited by Heather Dennis to join her very talented Design Team over at Freshly Brewed Challenges!   Naturally I jumped at the offer!  I love Heathers stamps and digi images!  She is so very talented and her rubber stamps are hands down the very best quality that I have ever had the pleasure of stamping with!  They are made from very deeply etched thick red rubber and they stamp a perfect image every time. 

As a customer, whenever I would order a digi image, Heather would have it to me right away along with a very cheerful note, making it a pleasure to do business with her.

I am so very proud to be on the Design Team of such a lovely, talented and very sweet lady.

Our first Freshly Brewed challenge for the month of August will be the month long prize challenge and the theme is

                                      Here is my DT card.

I had a lot of fun making this card!  I chose to use the very HOT  "Beach Bums" rubber stamp along with the Beach Bag from the "Beach Accessories" rubber stamp set.  Both stamps are from Fresh Brewed Designs.

I colored the stamped images in with my copic markers.

The cardstock is SU

The DP is Recollections "ALL SEASON" Paper Pad

To make the banner I used my new SU banner punch and added Recollections alphabet banner shaped fabric stickers.  The colors worked perfectly with the design paper.

I used MFT dienamic for the sun

Then I embellished it with yellow gingham ribbon.

The little crab is from Jolee's boutique

Here is my card using, "Shy Girl"

Isn't she lovely?  She is so very versatile too.   Check out the Design Team cards at Freshly Brewed Challenges for some inspiration on this wonderful Digi Stamp!

I colored, "Shy Girl" in with my copic markers and paper pieced her shirt.

I simply punched out a small flower with my McGill Mini Petals punch for her to hold in her hand.

The clouds, sun and grass are all done with MFT dienamics and I sponged the edges of them with my SU crumb cake ink.

I used SU punches for the sentiment and SU cardstock.
