Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge!

Hello!

I'm doing the, "Friday Happy Dance!" over here at my house!

And, can you believe that I woke up to SNOW!

I was hoping to at least get through 

Halloween before it started to snow!

Evidently, Mother Nature and I 

don't share the same plans for the weather!

Spooky Treats for Trick or Treat!

I'm so happy that it's Wednesday! 

 If I stand on my tippy toes, 

I can almost see the weekend from here!

Another reason to be really happy that it's Wednesday, 
is that it's time for a brand new challenge at

Freshly Brewed Challenges!

This week our challenge is 
Spooky Treats!

I had the best time making my very first treat basket with 

Fresh Brewed Designs

My Monster

and  my Stampin Up  top note die.

There are three mini Snickers bars tucked inside!

In this picture, I just pulled them up so you could get an idea of what this little basket will hold.

The snicker bars are no longer in the basket because I ate them!

I really couldn't help myself.

Recipe

SU Top Note Die

scalloped oval nestability

Sizzix tag die

I used all scrap papers on this project

The cupcake ribbon is old too and I'm so sorry that I couldn't find a brand on it.

The thin orange stitched ribbon is a-muse

I embossed with my SU dot folder

I cut out two top note die shapes

then I cut out two -2 3/4" by 3"  inch wide stripes of paper for the two

sides and  one 3 3/4" by 3" wide for the bottom.  

I creased and folded the 3" wide strips at one inch on both sides. 

Then I cut out an additional 1" wide strip for the handle

I really should try to do some tutorials with pictures or video in the future.

The thing is, it's late and I just got home from a mandatory workshop that I needed to attend for my childcare/preschool and truthfully, I'm really tired.

So.....I hope to make this basket again and take pictures of each step along the way for you to follow along with.

Boo Who?

Good Friday Evening!  

I can't tell you how very happy I am that it's finally Friday and that the weekend is here!

  I love weekends, because I  always find time to play in my craft room!

Tonight I made this sweet little Halloween card with one of  Heather's new images

at Fresh Brewed Designs.

BOO WHO?

I colored my BOO WHO? with copic markers

The first two layers of DP are from my scrap drawer.

The cardstock is SU Pumpkin Pie

The pretty plaid dp is Recollections Simply Autumn

I used my SU ticket punch and scalloped square punch

I also used my Boo ek border punch

The button is SU also!

The metal bat is oriental trader

The candy corn and purple glitter dots are Recollections

WITCHES BREW!

Hello!

I have another Halloween Card to share with all of you!

Ever since Heather created this very unique, 

"Witches Brew" Digi Stamp

Psst....She is on sale in the Fresh Brewed Designs shop right now!

I have been looking forward to working with it.

I finally got the chance to work with it last night!

I had lots of fun making this card!

I found this really fun sketch at 2 Sisters Challenge Blog.

Then I found my color combination at The Color Throwdown #164

and Cupcake Inspirations

Recipe

Fresh Brewed Designs  Witches Brew digi , colored with copic markers

I tore around the image and sponged the edges with SU Pumpkin Pie

The Witches Brew sentiment comes with the witch image.

The cardstock is SU Pumpkin Pie 

All of the DP is SU 

I punched out the "Boo" with Old Olive Card stock, using my ek border punch

The metal bat brads are from Oriental Trader

The webbing polyfill  was removed from my, Halloween Decorated, chandelier! 

The ribbon , orange stones and cat bag are from my stash

I colored Candy Corn Girl and Jack Scared

 in with my Copic Markers

The cardstock is SU

The candy corn dp is from my scrap pile!

The orange pom pom trim is SU

I used my dotted embossing folder

I punched out the "Boo" with my ek border punch

The bats are little brads from Oriental Trader

The Purple Ribbon is from my mother.

Tri-Shutter Halloween/Autumn Card

Hello everybody!

  It's Wednesday!

Time for a fun new challenge at 

Freshly Brewed Challenges

This week we challenge you to show us your

FANCY FOLDS
I chose to make a Tri-Shutter Card

I had a lot of fun making this card because there are so many folds to add images to!
I used the following Fresh Brewed Designs stamps
Cutie Pie Pumpkin Rubber Stamp
Candy Corn Girl Rubber Stamp
Falling For you digi stamp
So Thankful digi stamp
Set of 3 images Jack Jack O Lantern digi stamps
I also used a leaf stamp from my SU, "Day of Gratitude" stamp set


To make my card I followed the You tube video 
tutorial from Splitcoast Stampers


I colored my stamped images with my copic markers
The card stock is Stampin Up
The dp is from SU and my atd Super Paper Pad 
I also used my oval scallop nestibilities
My SU small oval,  scalloped circle and circle punches.
My sentiment is computer generated.
