Hello and Happy Wednesday!
We have a brand new month long
prize challenge at
FLOWERS!
I'm totally in love with this gorgeous
new "BUTTERFLY FAIRY" Digi
that Heather recently created for
our card making pleasure!
She is just perfect for our
FLOWER prize challenge!
Isn't she BEAUTIFUL?
I have to tell you that things have been super
crazy here at my house. My husband was ill all
weekend and then Monday we found out that he
needed surgery. My poor hubby!
We need to check into the hospital for his surgery
at 9:30 A.M. this morning.
I've certainly been praying a lot!
I wasn't sure if I would be able to finish
this card at all!
Then Tuesday evening, (Totally last minute) I took
a deep breath and started coloring this gorgeous image.
It was the first time that I was able to sit and focus on
something besides reality since last Friday afternoon.
Please excuse the poor photography. It was late at night
when I took this picture.
I'm disappointed in the red hair. It was my first time trying
to color red hair and wouldn't you know, I was missing the two
major color copic markers.
I did try to substitute different colors, but it just didn't turn out
the way that I was hoping.
Well I am off with my hubby to get him all fixed up!
Please stop over at
to see lots of wonderful inspiration
for our FLOWERS prize challenge!
I hope that you can join in on the fun!
If you would like to purchase this gorgeous
you can find her here.
Thank you for visiting!
Warmest Hugs, Sheryl
Oh Sheryl!
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry to hear that about your husband. I will be praying for him today. I know you must be so tired and drained. I know you already know that I would have totally understood your having to miss this post! I also know that, as you said, it was a mental / creative escape for you.
Know I am sending hugs!
As for this card, it is GORGEOUS!
I Love all of the deep bold colors. The trims and embellies pop from the card. I really do like her red hair. It matches the card perfectly!
Have a blessed day my sweet friend,
Heather
Awww Sheryl, praying for your husband and praying that the Lord lift you up and hold you in the palm of His hand. Sending you love & kisses! Your card is wonderful! You know, I never use color charts to color my hair, I just use whatever color I feel like using? Maybe that is what is wrong?
