Fussy and Fancy, "Try A New Technique" Challenge!

Is it really Friday?  I thought it would never get here!
I've been really excited about sharing my
DT Card with you!
Our current challenge is
TRY A NEW TECHNIQUE
Now is your chance to try that technique that you have seen before,
but haven't been able to try yet.
Our sponsor this time is Meljen's Designs, and she will be giving our random winner 4 digi stamps of their choice!
I made my pretty Fall card with an
EMBOSSED EMBEDDED IMAGE

If you would like to skip reading my long winded tutorial you can find a really simple tutorial
To make my embedded Leaf Image,  I kept my printed designer paper inside the scalloped oval nestability.
I covered the whole surface of my piece with my clear embossing ink pad.
Then I poured my clear embossing powder over the whole surface, dumped off the extra powder and used the heat gun.
While it was still really hot from the heat gun I continued to pour more embossing powder on it and set it again with the heat gun.
I heat set three separate coats of powder.
After it was cool
I used a Hero Arts rubber Leaf Stamp.
I dipped my stamp in my clear embossing ink pad and stamped the image on top of my clear embossed oval scallop shape.
Then I used Copper Embossing powder!
After I dumped the extra powder, I heat set it again with my heat gun and ....
WOW!
It really came out cool!
It's an embedded copper leaf image!
Recipe
Stampin Up cardstock
K&Company QueSerLera Designer Paper
I made the left side of my card by stamping the leaf image with two different inks and dry embossing it.
I also used my SU Scallop border punch
and
Cherry Cobbler 1/2" Seam Binding Ribbon

Even though my instructions may look difficult, this was really simple and FUN!
I hope that I've inspired you to give it a try sometime!
Now it's your turn!
If you haven't already, please check out all of the
wonderful new techniques that our DT has to share with you!
