Have you had your mammogram yet?

October is  Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Unfortunately, I think that each of us may know somebody who has fought this horrible Cancer and lost or somebody who may have fought and won the battle against Breast Cancer.  Then there are those who are still fighting this very scary disease and they need all of our prayers, love and support.
I have only been stamping for a little over a year now and I started by attending a fun
Stampin Up Workshop.
When I was there, I met a very young and pretty mother of two children who was fighting Breast Cancer.
She obviously loved stamping and making cards and
I knew next to nothing
about stamping or card making.
I was there to learn.  She cheerfully showed me how to change my adhesive glue for the first time and encouraged me to bravely sponge the edges of my stamped images.
She demonstrated the Big Shot for me and showed me how to use it, that first time.
I enjoyed two workshops sitting with her and
chatting with her.
She was so very cheerful and enthusiastic about stamping.
We didn't have a third workshop for a few months due to the holidays.
Then when I attended my next workshop, I was
devastated to learn that
she had lost her battle with Breast Cancer.
I will never forget her pretty face or how very sweet she was.
I can't even imagine how devastated her small children and family are to have lost someone so very dear.

I can't stress enough how important it is for all of us ladies to have our Mammograms.
Early detection can save your life.
Have you had your Mammogram yet?

YOLIE, CELESTE and GABY
care so much about the fight for Breast Cancer that they have organized
LINK UP FOR PINK!

Here is one of the cards that I made to enter, for this very important and worthy cause.

I made this card with the
DCWV Baby Girl Stack DP
Sizzix Tags, Scallop Combo #2 Die
(I dry embossed the large tag to put my cut our cup of latte on.)
MFT medium scallop dienamic
SU butterfly embosslits
I colored my Fresh Brewed Designs, Latte Awareness image with my copic markers,
I painted over my colored top with
for some fun sparkle. Then I cut it out and added some pink bling.
The sentiment is computer generated.

I would like to enter the following challenges
