New FBD Challenge and a Country Girl Birthday!

Hello to all of my very crafty and talented friends!
We have a fun sketch challenge at
this week!
I had a lot of fun creating my card
using the sketch and

digi image

and here is the sketch

I was a little bit of a rebel and I put the
fun sketch design inside my square card!
As you can see, I had fun paper piecing her skirt!
Recipe
Fresh Brewed Designs  Country Girl Birthday digi
Colored with copics and paper pieced with scrap paper.

All of my circles and scalloped circles were done

On a personal note
It's been really lousy and rainy weather so far this week!
My garden is starting to look like a jungle!
The good news is that they are forecasting beautiful and sunny
weather all the way through the weekend starting Thursday!
This is really good news for me!  I really need to get outside
with all of the children who come here!
I just invested in a brand new water table and we are
all anxious to bring it outside and try it out!
Splish Splash!
The children helped me put it all together
yesterday.  They were all so proud to be big helpers!
It was lots of fun to play with it empty.  They had a blast
making all of the little figures go down the slides.
They can only imagine how much
fun it will be when we actually
fill it up with water!  ;-)
Today we are all celebrating
the birthday of one of the little girls who comes
here.  She is going to be graduating to
Kindergarten and she is turning 5 yrs. old!
Where has all the time gone?
Today, I only want to focus on her special day and not
feel too sad about her leaving.
Her favorite color is yellow and she is very much a
girly girl!   I bought her a pretty
yellow summer dress! She loves dresses and
she has hinted several times that if I happen to see a dress
it's alright if I buy one for her birthday!  LOL!
I made her a very special card using a Fresh Brewed Designs
digi that looks JUST LIKE HER!  I will post her
birthday card here on Friday!
Well, I had better go and hang the,"Happy Birthday" banner
and get things ready for the party!
I apologize for not visiting your blogs for the past two days.
I promise to catch up on all of your lovely
crafty cards and projects as soon as I can.
Shamefully, I have been opting for sleep and
going to bed early.
Thank you for visiting!
I appreciate all of your lovely comments!
Warmest Hugs, Sheryl
