Fresh Brewed Designs DT feature card

Hello!

It's Wednesday!  I can almost see the

weekend peeking around the corner

from down the street!

I have a card to share with you

today that I created using

Fresh Brewed Designs

Mermaid Play digi stamp

I love this pretty little mermaid that Heather created

with the big eyes along with an adorable beach scene.

The month long prize challenge at

Freshly Brewed Challenges is

Mermaids, Fairies or Fantasy with the option of a box card technique, and this magical little mermaid

was perfect for the pretty coral, pinks and blues

that I was hoping to work with, along with

my mothers pretty crocheted flowers!

I was going for a Shabby Chic look, which isn't

my typical style and

I was having a blast as I worked on roughing up

the edges and added some ink and paint!

I wish I had more time to craft.  I just love to play!

Fresh Brewed Designs Mermaid Play

I colored her with copic markers and added

some liquid pearls.

I used Stampin Up cardstock, DP, pearls,

and sentiment.

My mother crocheted the pretty flowers and

the centers are from The Girls Paperie

I added a tiny spool that I wrapped some 

Stampin Up gold and white thread onto.

The corner embellishement is from Wild Orchid Crafts

I painted it white along with some corrugated cardboard

that you can see peeking out of the left corner.

The lace, buttons, butterfly, shell and baubles are from my stash.

I finished my card off with some white paint and sugar glitter.
