Fussy and Fancy Steampunk Challenge!

Hello my crafty friends!
It's time for a new challenge at
Our challenge for the next fortnight is
I chose to create with
Kenny K
She is colored with copic markers
I have never created a Steampunk card before, so
when I heard this challenge, I felt out of my comfort zone.
However, I made a trip to the store and bought some
Tim Holtz gears, printed cork, plain cork and some
Recollections DP and before I knew it, I was creating and
adding lovely crocheted flowers that my mother made for me
with added buttons and brads and a
K&Company key
Jolee's boutique watch
Little yellow Bicycle cork stick pin
and I finished it off by tucking a
Recollections newspaper embellishment
among the flowers.
I hope that you like her!
You are in for a huge treat when you pop
on over to our
to see the Steampunk themed creations made
by my very talented DT Friends.
I hope that you can join us for this
fun challenge!
On a personal note, As most of you know,
Google reader lists will be cancelled
as of July 1st.
I am in the process of trying to switch over to
I hope that you can follow me there
by clicking on the badge in my upper
left hand corner.
Thank you for visiting
warmest hugs, Sheryl

  1. This is fab Sheryl! And it fits our current challenge over at Crafty Cardmakers (if you're quick!). x

  2. Fabulous card, Sheryl. LOL, that was my first thought too when I saw the steampunk buy some metal cogs/wheels/gears, but the craft store was out of stock...yikes. Had fun doing this though. Love the flowers your mother crocheted. Sweet image.
