Hello my crafty friends!

I have a short post today

featuring a card that I made

for my grandson, Jakey.

He is having surgery today and

I want to send him some cards

to help cheer him up when

he is home recovering.

 

 

I often refer to Jakey as my little,

"Love Bug", so I thought this adorable

little Bee digi that Heather created

would be make a fun

card for him!

Bees and buttons are from my stash

I colored this adorable bee with copic markers and

used crystal effects on the balloon and

gold glitter glue on the wings.

My very dear and sweet mother has been

crocheting me a wonderful assortment of flowers

and it's always a treat to find, "just the right" one

for each card that I'm creating.

Thank you, mom!

 

Jakey's surgery isn't scheduled until 2:00 this afternoon!

Do you know how hard it is to not feed a toddler all morning?

He was tucked into bed last night with the exciting news

that he would be having a

frozen Lemonade popscicle for breakfast.

My precious little love bug!
